I have been a Tara Martin fan ever since we first connected on Twitter a few years ago. I brought you her #BookSnaps awesomeness in a blog post WAY back in November of 2016! Since then, we have published two books with her, Be Real: Educate from the Heart, and the picture book, Cannonball In. (Read my foreword to Be Real RIGHT HERE) Both highly recommended!! We even reached out and hired her to join us at DBC Inc. as our Director of Marketing and Communication...a title that does not even come close to describing all she does. 

Now, I am proud to announce that she has launched a brilliant new podcast, The Real Journey Show!!! Tara will have an eclectic set of guests from inside and outside education and interview them about the REAL journey they took on their path to success. 

I am honored that she asked me to be the initial guest on episode one!! We had a fantastic chat in which we discussed a wide range of issues including the origin story of DBC Inc., how to get started as an author, speaker, and/or entrepreneur, why it is important to follow your energy, the importance of getting connected, and many more topics.
