Hey! Halloween week is HERE! But...yeah...it's likely not going to be the same this year. Here are 3 Digital Escape Rooms created by Karly Moura that you can use THIS WEEK! Matt Miller (Author of Tech Like a PIRATE & Ditch That Textbook) and Karly have some major surprises in store this coming week and, not to give it away, but if you enjoy the Digital Escape Room concept you are going to want to sign up for Matt's email list RIGHT HERE. Want to have some Halloween problem-solving fun?

Halloween is coming. Need something to engage your students, whether you're face-to-face or remote?

These FREE Halloween-themed digital escape rooms will be a hit!

Students get the link to the escape room. They read the story that sets the scene. Then, they work alone or in teams, clicking around and gathering clues to figure out how to escape!

Karly Moura, Ditch That Textbook's digital escape room guru, has created THREE fun escape rooms for you:

  • The Halloween Escape Room
  • Halloween Haunt
  • The Haunted Mansion Mystery
The students will need to exhibit some "productive struggle" to get the answers. But never fear ... there's a teacher answer key for each escape room included.

KEEP YOUR EYES ON YOUR INBOX THIS COMING WEEK! If you're into digital escape rooms, you're going to love the resources we'll be sharing in the coming days. Don't miss next Friday, when we'll have a HUGE release that you won't want to miss! Sign up for the newsletter and blog HERE.

PS: We released TWO amazing projects this past week!!

EdTech coaching has NEVER been more essential and we are proud to partner with two incredible technology coaches, Adam Juarez and Katherine Goyette to bring you The Complete EdTech Coach: An Organic Approach to Supporting Digital Learning.

Adam and Kat have created a powerful resource for ANYONE who provides instructional support for educators. Their approach will dramatically increase the effectiveness of the coaching relationship and produce results that matter for kids.

PSS: It is our honor to also partner with CNN Hero, Richard Nares, to publish Ride With Emilio. This book tells the story of how Richard and his wife, Diane Nares, honored the legacy of their son by creating the Emilio Nares Foundation to provide transportation (and much more!) to children across Southern California so that no child misses their cancer treatment.

They have logged over ONE MILLION MILES and transported over 4,000 children. By purchasing this story of how Richard and Diane found a powerful purpose and created a movement, you will be supporting the Emilio Nares Foundation and their work on behalf of kid's with cancer. Buy Ride With Emilio RIGHT HERE

PSSS (Last one!!): My friend Reuben Hoffman's daughter, Kaya, just wrote, illustrated, and self-published a book for her Eagle Scout service project!! Wow!! Kaya is a senior in high school and her book, A Teenager's Guide to Your Parent's Breast Cancer Diagnosis, fills a much-needed gap in the literature. In easy to understand language and with great empathy born out of personal experience, she provides a useful guide for anyone you may know in this situation. It is priced at only $6.50 and well-worth a look. I was honored to consult with her on the content and assist in navigating the publishing process. Take a look HERE!!
