I believe in magic. There, I said it. As a magician, I have seen how a deck of cards and a couple of coins can open opportunities, create wonder, fascinate fellow friends, and build bridges and connections between others and me. It's real...not an illusion.
I want students to feel that same sense of astonishment and wonder and have the privilege to learn in a magical environment every day. This is exactly what Tisha Richmond created in her culinary arts class...and now we are proud to say that she is taking you behind the curtain and unlocking all of her secrets to allow you to do the same no matter what you teach or at what level. I have followed Tisha's journey via social media and then, eventually, as friends and she is just as authentic and genuine in person as she comes across online. And her class...WOW.
